Recipe Tips:

  • Use Softened Cream Cheese: Make sure the cream cheese is soft before mixing. This helps it blend smoothly with the whipped cream and sugar, making the filling creamy and easy to spread.
  • Crush Oreos Properly: Crush the Oreos into small pieces, but don’t turn them into powder. Small crunchy bits give the burrito the perfect texture.
  • Don’t Overfill the Tortilla: Spread the filling evenly, but don’t use too much. Overfilling can make it hard to roll the burrito and cause the filling to spill out.
  • Chill for a Better Texture: If you have time, put the rolled burritos in the fridge for 10-15 minutes before serving. This helps them hold their shape and makes the filling taste even better.
  • Warm the Tortilla Slightly: If your tortillas are stiff, warm them in the microwave for 5-10 seconds. This makes them soft and easier to roll without breaking.

How To Store Leftovers?

  • Refrigerate: Let the Oreo Breakfast Burrito cool to room temperature before storing. Wrap each burrito tightly in plastic wrap or place them in an airtight container. Store in the fridge for up to 2 days.
  • Freeze: Wrap each burrito in plastic wrap, then place them in a sealed container or freezer bag. Freeze for up to 1 month.
