Recipe Tips:

  • Chill Everything Well: Make sure the Moscato, pineapple juice, and apple puree are ice-cold before mixing. Warm ingredients will melt the ice too fast, making the sangria taste watered down.
  • Use Fresh Apple Puree: If possible, make your own Granny Smith apple puree instead of using bottled Apple Pucker. Fresh puree gives a more natural apple flavor and makes the sangria taste even better.
  • Choose the Right Moscato: Avoid super sweet Moscato, as it can make the sangria too sugary. Pick one with light citrus and peach flavors for a balanced taste.
  • Slice Fruit Thinly: Cut the apples, strawberries, and oranges into thin slices instead of chunks. This helps them release more flavor into the sangria while making the drink look prettier.
  • Let It Rest for Maximum Flavor: If you have time, refrigerate the sangria for 2-4 hours before serving. This allows the flavors to blend and makes the drink taste much richer and smoother.

How To Store Leftovers?

Let the leftover sangria sit until it reaches room temperature. Then, pour it into a sealed pitcher and store it in the fridge for up to 2 days. Stir before serving, as the flavors may settle.
