Recipe Tips:

  • Use Fresh Lime and Orange Juice: Fresh juice makes a big difference in the taste. Bottled juice can be too sweet or artificial, so squeeze fresh limes and oranges for the best flavor.
  • Shake Well for a Smooth Drink: Shake the ingredients in a cocktail shaker with ice for at least 15 seconds. This chills the drink and blends the flavors perfectly, giving you a smooth and refreshing margarita.
  • Use Good-Quality Tequila: The tequila is the base of your drink, so choose a good-quality blanco tequila. Cheap tequila can taste too harsh and affect the balance of flavors.
  • Don’t Skip the Sugar Rim: The sugar rim adds a nice touch of sweetness that balances the tangy flavors of the margarita. If you prefer a salty twist, use coarse salt instead.
  • Add Amaretto at the End for Best Taste: For the full Olive Garden experience, serve the amaretto on the side and pour it into the margarita right before drinking. This way, you get the rich, nutty flavor without overpowering the other ingredients.

How To Store Leftovers?

Let the margarita sit until it’s not too cold from the ice. Pour any leftover drink into a sealed container and keep it in the fridge for up to 1 day. Shake before drinking again.
