Recipe Tips:

  • Use chilled Moscato and Ginger Ale: Make sure your wine and soda are cold before mixing. This keeps the sangria fresh and crisp without needing too much ice, which can water it down.
  • Add ice just before serving: If you add ice too early, it will melt and dilute the flavors. Keep the sangria in the fridge and add ice right before pouring.
  • Let the fruit soak for extra flavor: For a stronger fruity taste, let the sliced strawberries and orange sit in the sangria for at least 30 minutes before serving. This helps infuse the drink with fresh fruit flavors.
  • Adjust the sweetness: If you prefer a less sweet drink, start with less watermelon syrup and add more if needed. You can also squeeze in fresh lemon or lime juice for a little tartness.
  • Choose a good Moscato: Use a high-quality, sweet Moscato for the best taste. A cheaper one may taste too sugary or artificial, which can affect the final flavor.

How To Store Leftovers?

Let the Watermelon Moscato Sangria sit for a few minutes before storing. Pour it into a sealed container and refrigerate for up to 24 hours. Remove the fruit before storing and add fresh fruit when serving again.
