Recipe Tips:

  • Use Freshly Brewed Coffee: For the best taste, use freshly brewed espresso or strong coffee. If the coffee is old or bitter, your latte won’t taste good.
  • Warm Milk to the Right Temperature: Heat the milk to (65-68°C) for the best creamy texture. If it gets too hot, it will burn and taste bad. If it’s too cold, it won’t mix well with the coffee.
  • Froth the Milk Properly: For a smooth and velvety latte, froth the milk until it has tiny bubbles. If the foam is too thick, your latte will feel too airy instead of creamy.
  • Dissolve Caramel Syrup in Hot Coffee: Always stir the caramel syrup into the hot coffee before adding milk. This helps the caramel mix evenly and prevents it from sinking to the bottom.
  • Preheat Your Cup: Pour hot water into your coffee cup before making the latte, then dump it out. This keeps your drink warm for longer and stops the coffee from cooling too fast.

How To Store & Reheat Leftovers?

  • Refrigerate: First, let the leftover caramel latte cool to room temperature. Then, pour it into an airtight container and store it in the fridge for up to 1 day. Shake or stir well before drinking.
  • Reheat: Pour the latte into a small pot and warm it over low heat, stirring gently. Do not let it boil, or the milk will separate. Heat until it reaches your desired temperature.
