Recipe Tips:

  • Use Freshly Brewed Espresso: Fresh espresso gives the best flavor. If using strong coffee instead, make sure it’s freshly brewed and hot.
  • Froth the Milk Properly: For a creamy texture, heat the milk to about 150°F and froth it until smooth and velvety. Avoid overheating, or the milk will taste burnt.
  • Stir the Vanilla Syrup Well: Mix the vanilla syrup with the hot espresso before adding milk. This helps blend the flavor evenly and prevents it from settling at the bottom.
  • Use the Right Milk Ratio: A classic Starbucks Vanilla Latte has about ⅔ milk and ⅓ espresso. Too much milk can make it taste weak, while too little milk can make it too strong.
  • Make It Extra Frothy: If you love Starbucks’ signature foam, let the frothed milk sit for 10–15 seconds before pouring. This helps create a thick, creamy layer on top.

How To Store & Reheat Leftovers?

  • Refrigerate: First, let the leftover vanilla latte cool to room temperature. Then, pour it into a sealed container and store it in the fridge for up to 24 hours. Shake or stir before drinking, as the flavors may settle.
  • Reheat: Pour the latte into a small saucepan and warm over low heat, stirring occasionally until heated through. Do not let it boil, or the milk may curdle.
